چکیده

The Hellisheidi geothermal power plant, located in Iceland, is a combined heat and double-flash plant with an installed capacity of 303.3 MW electricity 133 hot water. This study aimed to elucidate the environmental impacts production from this plant. In vein, firstly, most updated inventory was generated, secondly, life-cycle assessment approach based on exergy allocation factor carried out instead applying traditionally used allocations terms mass energy. functional unit defined as 1 kWh water for district heating. stages included (i) construction, (ii) operation (including abatement operations maintenance), (iii) well closure All construction dismantling were considered. Finally, results partitioning impact showed that should be charged electricity, expected. Furthermore, distribution among determined stage impactful production. result attributable large consumption steel demanded during (geothermal wells, equipment, buildings). Impacts due demonstrated satisfactorily reduced total attributed three

Reduced Exergy Method for Heat-Electricity Cost Allocation in Combined Heat and Power Plants

Although the cost allocation method does not change the total benefits of CHP, the use of various cost allocation methods generally results in significant differences in costs allocated for CHP products. In order to overcome the inadequacy of existing cost allocating methods in theory and in practice, according to the different roles of anergy and exergy in heat supply process of CHP plant, the...
